An Old Friend with a New Name Inspires Hope
The caring and concern of an old, trusted friend can
often lessen the impact of serious illness. Since March of 1980,
cancer patients along the Grand Strand have found that friend in
Myrtle Beach Radiation Therapy. Now their old friend has a new name
– Carolina Regional Cancer Center.
"Carolina Regional Cancer Center is a name that more accurately
reflects both the geographic scope and comprehensive nature of the
services that we provide," says CRCC Clinical Director Dr.
Steve Bass. "Last year we completed an extensive renovation
of our offices. The changes enable us to improve the esthetics and
technology available to our patients."
A fountain, original works of art and relaxing views of courtyards
and native wildlife now greet patients at the Center at 4708 Oleander
Drive, just off 48th Avenue North and Highway 17 Bypass in Myrtle
Beach. The consultation, counseling, and treatment rooms, as well
as the waiting area and parking facility, were enlarged as part
of the remodeling.
