Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
Dr. Andrews joined Carolina Regional Cancer Center in January 2006. He is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Andrews completed his residency in radiation oncology from the prestigious Fox Chase Cancer Clinic in Philadelphia, Pa. where he served as chief resident. He has several peer-reviewed manuscripts and has made numerous presentations at nationally recognized meetings in the areas of prostate cancer and soft tissue sarcomas.
Dr. Andrews has a masters and bachelors degree in health physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Ga. He worked for several years in the nuclear power industry before pursuing a career in medicine. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000.
Dr. Andrews, along with his wife Adriana and two children, relocated to Myrtle Beach in January 2006. Dr. Andrews enjoys golf and spending quality time with family and friends.
