CRCC, accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), focuses on having a caring, experienced staff, state-of-the-art technology and maintaining the highest level of quality patient care.

Quality Care
Quality of care involves state of the art treatment, technology and highly qualified personnel. CRCC has a range of state of the art treatment technology to provide superficial, electrons, 2D, 3D, and IGRT treatments. The facility employs four full-time, board-certified radiation oncologists who provide patients with the same level of care provided at the finest university hospitals in the nation. They direct all aspects of patient care, with the entire 38-member CRCC team playing a vital role in treatment. Carolina Regional Cancer Center has attracted a highly qualified staff, ranging from its physicians, physicists, nurses and technical staff to office management.


"In our view, 'quality of care’ is highly dependent on having the appropriate people in the right numbers," observes Dr. Bass. "Carolina Regional Cancer Center exceeds national guidelines for staff per task to be performed and staff per number of patients. This allows us to be certain our treatments are carried out with the highest possible degree of precision, which is the primary key to success in radiation treatment. It also creates a relaxed, comfortable and courteous environment for each patient."
